My career as a techie & entrepreneur gave me the freedom to ask different questions, and formal training in psychology gave me the language to answer them.

Now I write about how we connect, the search for substance in a world of sheen, and building systems that honor our shared humanity.

When I’m not writing, you can find me cooking, reading, traveling, or playing chess. (I inherited my grandfather’s passion for the game but not his talent. Some patterns are easier to see than others.)
